Dont Grab the Steering Wheel While Gods Driving (1/31/2010)

None

Do you really trust God? You probably would answer, “Yes.” But sometimes your actions and even reactions prove otherwise. Learn the three principles of trusting God. 1). No Problem is too Small for God. 2). No Person is too Insignificant for God’s Help. 3). No Power is Greater Than God’s. You may be like Moses when confronted by the two magicians: Twice as many problems as solutions. But trust in God solves the problems. Moses’ one serpent swallowed up the magician’s two serpents! God is faithful so trust Him!

Just An Old Fashion Love Song (1/24/2010)

None

John 3:16 is the epitome of the Bible. If the entire Bible were destroyed and only John 3:16 would remain it would be enough to bring the whole world to salvation. A person doesn’t have to be a walking encyclopedia to be a Christian all they have to do is believe and accept this one scripture. John 3:16 is a love song from God – it’s His love song to the world. It has four movements and like any song the performance of the complete work requires all the movements to be performed in succession. Pastor Parrish does just that and preaches the greatest love song this side of heaven. John 3:16 can boiled down to this: He loves. He gave. We believe. We live. We live forever untouched by human despair and unmolested by human death. After the twilight of your life mixes with the purpling dawn of eternity, angels will speak your name with honor! All because of John 3:16.

Growing in Grace (1/20/2010)

None

Revolutions, earthquakes, tornados, and tsunamis impress with might, but there is no comparison to the power of growth! Peter tells us to “grow in grace.” Why would we be admonished to do so? 1. Because he is telling us to choose the direction of our growth. 2. Because in growing in grace we become our best. 3. Because to fail to grow is a tragedy. Peter and Judas become good narratives to growing and not growing. They both heard the same Word, seen the same miracles, and walked with Jesus. Peter grew and Judas degenerated. When Judas stopped growing upward he began to grow downward. Come go with pastor Parrish in this exciting Wednesday evening study. You’ll be inspired, humored and helped.
